Mountain of 7 Colors

The Mountain of 7 Colors (also called Winikunka or just ‘rainbow’) is one of the most beautiful attractions in Peru. It is located just over 100 kilometers from the city of Cusco, at 5200 m.a.s.l. The mountain, surrounded by ice a few years ago, is colored in various shades (red, purple, green, yellow, pink, etc.) as a result of the complex combination of minerals. Since 2016, every day this place receives hundreds of visitors, becoming, along with Machu Picchu, one of the most visited places in Cusco-Peru.
