The Paracas National Reserve is the only protected area on the Peruvian coast. This wildlife sanctuary is located a few minutes from Pisco and north of Ica. It spans an area of 335 thousand hectares of desert and beautiful beaches that are the natural habitat of endangered animal species, such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, guano birds and parihuanas.

We’ll start our trip in Paracas Bay, where Don José de San Martín landed with the liberating expedition in 1820. We will learn about famous Paracas culture (from 700 BC to 200 AD). We’ll sail for 2 hours to Ballestas Islands. We will be able to see the famous and gigantic El Candelabro geoglyph and we will observe the old guano extraction dock. We will be at the beautiful Paracas bay and enjoy the breeze and the peace of the sea, with amostly sunny climate. They will be able to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Paracas National Reserve.
